Between Season 12 postings, I thought I would post the album sales numbers since
they showed up today, even though I posted last weeks only yesterday! So many American Idol postings, so little time! In any case this week Carrie Underwood, Phillip Phillips and Kelly Clarkson are all bunched very close together on the BillBoard chart, all selling around 12,000 to 13,000 units. In fact, Idol Chatter neglected to post Phillips actual BillBoard ranking number, but since it is listed between Carrie at #44 and Kelly at #49, it really does not make a matter on my chart since it is all just a big blob there anyway! Only Colton Dixon's "A Messenger" has a distinct line on its own as it drops to #132 this week on sales of 4K to put his total at 46K units sold. Carrie's "Blown Away" has now reached 1.335M, Phillips "World From The Side of the Moon" has reached 738K and Kelly's "Greatest Hits" has reached 309K. Kelly's "Stronger" also remains on the Top 200 list still at #174 with total sales of 1.038M. Also still making it on the list yet again (with 1K in sales each) are Scotty McCreery's "Clear As Day" at 1.160M now and Casey James debut album at 72K.
