As the number of contestants decrease, it gets harder and harder to predict the bottom 3 and who may be going home tomorrow. DialIdol has become less and less accurate, but they did predict Elise Testone going home using their mysterious
DialIdol score last week (Top 6 week), but they also put Hollie Cavanagh on top (and she was Bottom 3):
So we will see what they are saying so far for tonight (90 minutes after the show ending):
Wow, they are actually putting Phillip Phillips on the bottom of the group. Whereas week after week I always think he is the worst performer, I just assume he will always be power voted to safety. The poll takers at Idol Chatter have been pretty accurate, also predicting Elise to be eliminated last week and the
Top 5 elimination poll there also has Phillip as the leading candidate to go home:
I think Phillip landing in the Bottom 3 would actually be good for the show, so it will finally show that he is not untouchable. The Idol Chatter poll has Phillip then Skylar Laine then Jessica Sanchez as the most likely to be Bottom 3, whereas DialIdol has Phillip, then Jessica then Joshua Ledet. Since Joshua went last and had two very solid performances, I do not see him landing in the Bottom 3 myself. Hollie did perform last during Top 6 week and still ended up in the Bottom 3, so performing first this time may land her there yet again (and despite having a very strong DialIdol score.) I think Hollie has some very strong fans that power vote for her heavily but I am not sure if they will be strong enough, especially after last week. Skylar performed third and both her performances seemed about the same to me. Before she ended up Bottom 3 last week, I saw her being the last lady in the competition, but now all three girls seem to have evened out.
This week the only person I think is safe from being Bottom 3 is Joshua. I am guessing for Phillip and any two of the ladies as the Bottom 3. If it is all three of the girls I will be a bit upset. But I am still guessing if Phillip or also Jessica end up Bottom 3 they will probably not go home, with one of last week's remaining Bottom 3 gals (Skylar or Hollie) probably going home. Could Phillip possibly go Bottom 3 for the first time and then go home as well? It happened to Colton!
