When I saw the
Hits Daily Double Rumor Mill Top 15 predictions for next week, I had to make sure they were not just reprinting the one from
last week (they were not!) Both Phillip Phillips and Scotty McCreery are again there with exactly the same predicted numbers as last week, Phillip with 65K to 70K and Scotty with 50K to 55K. They ended up spot on for Phillip but overestimated Scotty a little, so it will be interesting to see how accurate their estimates are this week. In any case it looks like Phillip's "World from the Side of the Moon" will likely be in the Top 10 for a fourth consecutive week, and Scotty should remain in the Top 15 for "Christmas With Scotty McCreery"'s ninth week out. They are the only 19/Interscope albums in the Top 15 yet again so the last two Idol winners are definitely bringing in the cash for Jimmy Iovine and company.
