American Idol Top 4 Part II - DialIdol Users Out in Full Force Tonight!

After the second half of tonight's American Idol show, where the Top 4 ladies were forced to sing some of the oldest songs known to mankind, I was afraid their dwindling audience would all be asleep and would not be able to vote! But some folks with modems were obviously busy dialing in votes for their favorites, since after just one hour since the show ended there have already been about 30,000 dialed in votes. There were only about 20K total votes all evening long last week, so this is a huge increase in DialIdol voting, with nearly half of the total votes going to Angie Miller.

As for busy signals, the leader is Kree Harrison with 236 on one line and 106 on the other for a total of 342. Second is Angie with 150+45 = 195 total busy signals. Next Amber Holcomb has 51+35=86 busy signals and Candice Glover has the least at only 28+9 = 37. Now last week, we did not know who had the lowest number of votes between Amber and Candice, and I have a good bet they are again going to be the Bottom 2 this week, especially since the vote counts from last week will be added to this week's total. Which of Candice and Amber will be leaving tomorrow? I am betting it will be Amber, but you never know if enough Amber voters can save her and in doing so send Candice packing. We will have to see tomorrow night!

American Idol Season 12 Betting Odds : Top 4 Part II

Even though nobody was eliminated last week on the results show, the fact that Candice Glover was in the Bottom 2 along with Amber Holcomb, and that Angie Miller and Kree Harrison were in the Top 2 means that the American Idol Season 12 betting odds shifted slightly this week. Surprisingly, Candice is still favored slightly over Kree Harrison, with Angie Miller now leading them all at 7/4 (= 1.75). Candice's odds of 9/5 equals 1.80 so the difference between the top two favorites is pretty small.

Kree has now fallen to 9/4 = 2.25 odds and she seems to be fading. And even though Amber's odds improved from 15/1 to 15/2 (= 7.5), she is still the long shot to win it all.
