Songs Of The Summer: Part Three

How's your summer going? Enjoying the heat and humidity or hating it already? Well, I for one love the heat (although the humidity is another issue). Well, no matter what, summer is here to stay. Grab something tall and chilled to drink, here's Part Three of my Songs Of The Summer series! Check out Part One and Part Two and recap if you haven't already! Ready? Let's go!

#21. "Summer Paradise" - Simple Plan featuring Sean Paul I love the Caribbean/ reggae infused vibe in this song, which is really different for Simple Plan, known for their pop-rock punk sound.

#22. "Don't Rush" - Kelly Clarkson featuring Vince Gill Kelly Clarkson proves that she can sing country songs just as well as pop, blending her voice effortlessly with Vince Gill's in this song about taking life easy.

#23. "Summer Nights" from the movie Grease By far, my favorite song from Grease is Summer Nights. The main characters detail their summer romance to their friends and dream about each other. Oh, 1978.

#24. "Irreplaceable" - Beyonce This is not strictly a "summer song", but I love the airy atmosphere in this song. The pleasant guitars and Beyonce's great vocals make this one I would listen to all summer.

#25. "Chasing Pavements" - Adele Okay, again, not a "summer song", but I love Adele's style in this song. It's not fast paced, not dies it have a thumping beat, but is relaxed and ruminative.

#26. "Here Comes The Sun" - Beatles Two words: why not? This is a sunshine anthem.

#27. "A Thousand Miles" - Vanessa Carlton This is a summer radio staple (for me at least). It's peppy, breezy and although Vanessa Carlton isn't the strongest vocalist, this song is a great one.

#28. "Home" - Phillip Phillips The breakout summer song of 2012 is still super popular a year later. The American Idol winner's debut single is captivating and nostalgic and has a catchy, singalong chorus.

#29. "Hawaiian Roller Coaster Ride" from Disney's Lilo and Stitch From one of my favorite summer movies, this Disney tune incorporates authentic Hawaiian elements into this song about hanging ten.

#30. "All For One" from the movie High School Musical 2 The closing number of the movie is also the closing song for this series. A song about having fun in the sun, what could be better?

And, that's that! Summer's either full swing or just starting, depending on where you live, but hey, now you have a big bunch of songs to listen to while you have fun in the sun- or even if you're stuck at work.

Have a great summer everybody!
