I cannot seem to find the sales numbers this week for American Idol albums (
Idol Chatter is too busy commenting on how lame Season 12 contestants have been), so I can at least chart and post the
weekly BillBoard 200 album rankings. For the first time since its release Phillip Phillips "World from the Side of the Moon" is not one of the top two Idol releases on the chart, but falls to #3 behind Carrie Underwood's' "Blown Away" and Kelly Clarkson's "Greatest Hits" collection (which just narrowly edged it out.) Phillip is at #40 whereas Kelly is at #38 and Carrie leads them all at #33. Colton Dixon's "A Messenger" remains in the Top 200 in its fourth week, falling this week to #108 from #83 last week. Hopefully next week I can find the latest sales tallies.
