Phillip Phillips Hangs in Top 10, Scotty McCreery in Top 15
Last Friday's HitsDailyDouble estimates were close for Phillip Phillips, but off by a bit for Scotty McCreery, but both managed to not slip too far on the charts. Phillip's "World from the Side of the Moon" sold 65K more to reach 310K and slip just a few notches from #5 to #9, but "Christmas With Scotty McCreery" sold almost the exact same amount as last week (and his very first week) at 41K to bring Scotty's total to 245K (+5K if you add the QVC bundle) and leave him at #14. Roughstock also had Carrie Underwood's numbers listed for "Blown Away" with 31K more (1.067M) which put her at #23, but neither BillBoard nor Roughstock had Kelly Clarkson's "Greatest Hits" number so I will have to wait on that one. One thing you can say about Scotty, though, is that he sure is consistent! In the 8 weeks his Christmas album has been out he has sold 41K units 3 of the 8 weeks. That is a very bizarre sales number he keeps hitting, but I guess he has always been "Mr. Consistent".
