Crystal drops out of top 100, but still remains strong
With another 5,889 in sales this week, Crystal Bowersox brings her total sales to 155,598 but drops out of the top 100 of the BillBoard 200 to end up at #128. She was in the top 100 for 9 weeks so hopefully she will stay in the top 200 for a while and sell some more albums. "Live It Up" only stayed in the Top 200 for 10 weeks, so hopefully "Farmer's Daughter" will last longer than that.
Crystal Hits 150,000 in sales and remains in BillBoard Top 100
Grammy week is always a good week for music sales, and Crystal Bowersox continued to sell quite well, with her album, "Farmer's Daughter" approaching 150,000 in total sales, with an increase of 27% to 6,866 for the week. That was good enough to keep her in the BillBoard Top 100 at #98. I am guessing she should continue to do well into next week with her continuing promotional tour.
"Farmer's Daughter" hangs in Top 100 and breaks 140K
After eight full weeks on the charts, Crystal Bowersox's "Farmer's Daughter" remains in the top 100 on the BillBoard 200 charts, at #89 with 5,413 in sales (down from 7,780) for a total of 142,831 (numbers via her producer, David Bendeth) Unfortunately, Idol Chatter is no longer listing Lee's "Live It Up" so I am guessing it did not sell 1,000 units this past week (the article lists other albums that sold around 1,000). So I will also have to leave Lee's BB200 number at 200 for my BillBoard chart. I guess he did not get any boost from playing at the Giants-Packers game.
Album Sales Feb 2, 2011 - "Farmer's Daughter" up 16%
This past week was a good one for sales of Crystal Bowersox's "Farmer's Daughter" as she saw sales increase 16% from 6,682 last week to 7,780 this week, putting her back up to #60 on the BillBoard 200 (from #68 last week) and increase her total sales to over 137,000. "Live It Up" has fallen out of the BillBoard chart so I am guessing Lee had sales of 2,000 tops to put his total sales up to 114,000. On my BillBoard chart I will just set his value to 200 since we do not know his actual placement.
