"Christmas With Scotty McCreery" Set to Debut in BillBoard Top 10, #2 Country

HitsDailyDouble has released its one day estimates and it is currently estimating 35K-40K for the first week sales of "Christmas With Scotty McCreery". The number is slightly lower than I had expected, but with it being a Christmas album released in the middle of October, it has the lucky position of probably seeing its sales go up as the holiday season progresses. Nevertheless, that is still a good first week number and should put Scotty #2 most likely on the Country chart (behind Jason Aldean but in front of Jamey Johnson) and #3 to #6 on the overall album chart. The albums besides Aldean's and Brandy's debuts which might keep him from making the top 5 are the current releases by Mumford & Sons, KISS and Macklemore (whoever that is!):

It all depends on how much their sales drop for next week to see exactly where Scotty ends up on the chart, but being in the top 6 with sales of ~40K is still a pretty solid showing for the first week of a country Christmas album released in October. I am just happy that I will have another line to plot on my sales graph again!
